Born in Beijing, China

1978 - 1982

Studied sculpture at the Central Academy of Arts & Design (which is now named the Academy of Arts & Design, Qinghua University), Beijing, China

1982 - 1985

Pursued postgraduate studies under Professor Zheng Ke at the Central Academy of Arts and Design, Beijing, China

1986

Appointed as lecturer at the Central Academy of Arts and Design, Beijing, China

1989

Moved to Austria, set up a studio and joined The Austrian Art Association

1993

Acquired Austrian citizenship

1997 - 1998

Built new studio with Wu Shaoxiang in Klagenfurt, Austria
