Hong Zhu An’s art composes of Chinese calligraphic elements and large expanses of colour fields. His colour fields are not entirely formless, but rather they are imbedded with imaginative silhouettes veiled within the flatness of colouration. Such alliance eschews the confinement of a pictorial space, thus creating a realm of infinite possibility. |
