Plum Blossoms Gallery takes great pleasure in presenting Le Thiet Cuong - Point of View, the third solo exhibition of the prominent Vietnamese artist in Hong Kong and Singapore.  Featuring about 50 new works, this exhibition represents the culmination of two years of effort and displays his recent focus on landscape and townscape painting.  Le Thiet Cuong - Point of View will be on view from November 10 - 21, 1999 in Hong Kong and  from November 16 - 28, 1999 in Singapore.

 Le Thiet Cuong was born in 1962 in Hanoi to an educated family of great cultural fame. His father, Le Nguyen, is a renowned film scriptwriter, playwright and poet while mother Do Phuong Thao is a famous cinematographer. From 1985 to 1990, Cuong attended the Vietnam State Film College in Hanoi where he studied set design and animation. Cuong began his study of Tay Tang Buddhism (a Tibetan sect of Buddhism) in the early 90s which has profoundly influenced his works. Since Cuong's first international solo exhibition in 1995, his works have been widely recognized and collected by private and public collections around the world.
